Easy Homemade Chicken Ramen Recipe
Ingredients
1 pack of ramen noodles (without the seasoning packet)
2 cups water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 chicken breast, cooked and chopped
½ cup red cabbage, chopped
½ red bell pepper, sliced
½ cup carrots, sliced
2 eggs, boiled and halved
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Seasoning for Chicken & Veggies
½ tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cumin
How to Make Homemade Ramen
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breast with sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cumin. Cook for 10 minutes, covering the pan to retain moisture. Once cooked, remove from heat, let it rest, and chop into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables
Using the same pan, add chopped red cabbage and let it cook down for 15 minutes. Then, add carrots and red bell pepper and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
Step 3: Boil the Eggs
While the veggies are cooking, boil 2 eggs for 8–10 minutes. Once done, peel and slice in half.
Step 4: Make the Ramen Broth
In a separate pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 chicken bouillon cube and let it dissolve completely. If it doesn’t break apart, stir until fully incorporated.
Step 5: Cook the Ramen
Add the ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook for 3 minutes or until tender.
Step 6: Assemble & Serve
Transfer the ramen noodles and broth to a bowl. Arrange the cooked chicken, sautéed veggies, and boiled eggs around the bowl for a vibrant, delicious presentation. Enjoy your homemade, restaurant-style ramen!
